Giving Children in Need the Resources They Require to Build a Better Future
As a non-profit organization, Alrahma Orphans Institute has decided to focus our efforts to help children in need in the areas of housing, formal education, Quranic studies and Hafiz training, humanities, and cultural enlightenment. We believe by putting all these together we can make a big impact on their lives now and as they continue in life.
Housing
Having a safe and secure place to live, to rest, to sleep, to thrive, is a basic human right that unfortunately not all of us have. However, with belief and a lot of hard work, it doesn’t have to be that way. Through our charitable initiatives and the support of many, Alrahma Orphans Institute is in the process of creating housing for children in need.
Formal Education
Along with housing, another right all children should have is the equal opportunity to receive a quality, formal education. Again, this is unfortunately not the case for all. Alrahma Orphans Institute believes that education creates opportunity. It allows us to understand the world around us, what our interests are, and where we can each make a difference. We are building schools where children can go to gain knowledge and receive mentoring to guide them on their way.
Religious, Humanities and Cultural Enlightenment
Perhaps more intangible than housing and formal education in a school, is something equally important for children. We speak of faith and learning about spirituality. The mission of our Quranic studies and Hafiz training, humanities, and cultural enlightenment is to provide just that. To serve to guide children and help them see what is truly important in this world.
