Build the First Major Islamic Institution in Sierra Leone
Creating a sanctuary, housing 30% orphans, where the values of Islam inspire and shape generations to come
About Our Mission
Sierra Leone is a country in West Africa with a population of nearly
9 million people
which includes the
80% Muslim
population. Unfortunately, similar to much of the Ummah in today's climate, the Muslim population in Sierra Leone still feels the effects from the colonial past and the
10-year civil war. This has taken a toll on the people, both spiritually and economically. Imagine a country where most of the individuals lack fundamental knowledge about Islam and its core values. Hence, it is very crucial for us to act now as one body to protect the Ummah.

The goal of our project
Our vision is to establish the first major Islamic institution on a
3.5-acre site in Freetown. We are creating a comprehensive facility that will serve as a center for Islamic education and community support. This institution will include a
masjid,
housing for students and staff, a
secondary school for boys and girls, a
vocational school for practical skills training, and a community
medical clinic. We are particularly dedicated to the welfare of orphans, with
30% of the facility designated for their care.
